Do you accept Medicare and DVA (Department of veterans' affairs) referrals?
Yes we do! Exercise physiology is covered by both Medicare and DVA under the allied health referral system. A referral from your GP will be required to receive a Medicare or DVA funded service.
Do you accept insurance?
Sydney In-Home exercise physiology accepts all eligible insurance payments. However, it is highly recommended that you check with your insurance provider to see if exercise physiology services are covered by your insurance plan.
Do you accept payments from aged care packages?
Yes we certainly do. Sydney In-Home Exercise Physiology will happily accept payments from an aged care package. However, we will need to undergo an approval process from your aged care package provider/ manager before we can accept payments using this method.
Do you accept NDIS clients and payments?
Yes, our exercise physiologists can accept NDIS clients and payments provided that the payments are made using a self-managed NDIS fund or a plan-managed NDIS fund.
Do you accepts worker's compensation payments?
Unfortunately, Sydney In-Home Exercise physiology does not accept payments from worker's compensation insurance.
How do I pay for each session?
Sessions can be paid for using cash or a bank transfer.
Are any session types bulk billed?
Within our practice, only DVA gold card clients can be bulk billed. All other services will require our listed billing fee.
Do you require a full payment or only a gap payment?
All services require a full payment upon completion of the service provided. In terms of claiming eligible rebates, we will provide you with an invoice and a receipt which can be submitted to Medicare, your NDIS planner and/or your insurance. This will allow you to claim any rebate that you may be owed.
